TOP STORY:
The RealReal is hosting a special sale of celebrity’s closets to support Remake, an organization that advocates for a fairer fashion industry. Items are from the closets of celebrities like Robin Wright, Nathalie Kelley, and Jamie Lee Curtis, celebrity stylists Tara Swennen, Evet Sanchez, Elizabeth Stewart, and Lexy Rose Boiardo, costume designer Meredith Pollack, brands Mara Hoffman and Eckhaus Latta, models Cameron Russell, Keke Lindgard, and Frederique van der Wal.
TOP READING:

Let’s get one thing straight: I am not reading a book a week. However since these are Earth Day recommendations. Here are a few of my favorite books about climate activism.
This Is Not a Drill: An Extinction Rebellion Handbook
Consumed: The Need for Collective Change: Colonialism, Climate Change, and Consumerism by Aja Barber
TOP CLOTHING:
This weekend, I’m giving myself an assignment (and its one for you too if you choose to accept). It’s to wear something in my closet that makes me totally uncomfortable. Not like something itchy or ill-fitting, but something that I constantly push aside when getting dressed. The idea is to wear this piece and confront all the reasons why I usually don’t. Does it feel out of style? Is it revealing and out of my comfort zone? Too colorful? The idea of course is to wear and appreciate what I (and you) already have.
TOP LISTENING:
Earth Day shouldn’t be about buying, it should be about education and activism. I found Below the Radar’s episode Decolonizing Climate Justice with Squamish Nation Councillor and community leader Khelsilem, to be extremely thought provoking. The episode discusses how fossil fuel policy is worsening the climate crisis.
TOP EATING AND DRINKING:

I recently found out about a restaurant in New York City called Pisticci. They not only grow their own food, they also have a recycling program to reduce food waste (a huge issue in the restaurant world). They are now considered New York's first carbon neutral restaurant.
